Caverna FRYSC Readifest looked a little different this year, but that did not stop…

Caverna FRYSC Readifest looked a little different this year, but that did not stop students and their families from starting their school year off with a stuffed backpack! Even behind the masks, we were so glad to be greeted by “smiling” faces today!

Community partners continue to provide generous support and made it possible to provide 500 backpacks for Caverna students in preschool through 12th grade. Thanks to each business and person who made this possible! From monetary donations to donations of time by filling each backpack with the essential school supplies — we could not do it without your support! Also, a special thanks goes to Passport, Lifeskills, Cave City McDonalds and their crew, teachers/staff Mayor Hatcher, Cave City Police, and Fire Department.

These are strange times, but we will continue to be ready to help each child in our district. Please enjoy a few pictures and highlights and be sure to tune in tonight at 5:00 p.m. 6:00 and p.m. to WNKY Channel 40 to see coverage of our wonderful event.
