Spring Gala event at the Kentucky Castle

About this Pre-Derby Event

The evening will be filled with delicious passed hors d’oeuvres, a thoughtfully curated plated dinner, drinks, and a silent auction. Enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening by Matt Castle. The Masters of Ceremony will be Katie Bouchard Wilkinson, former Miss Kentucky, and Anthony White, former UK football player. All net proceeds will benefit the Family Resource and Youth Services Coalition of Kentucky (FRYSCKy), a non-profit membership organization for a network of workers striving to help at-risk students succeed in school.

The Kentucky Family Resource and Youth Services Centers were established as a component of the historic Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA) of 1990. The mission of these school-based Centers is to help academically at-risk students succeed in school by helping to minimize or eliminate non-cognitive barriers to learning. The FRYSC program is the largest school-based family support network in the United States.
